This cover is FAR superior in quality, fit and appearance. It actually has a 'Blackberry' logo on the back of the cover-up, it looks pretty cool. I recommend this for anyone with 8110 Blackberry. Silicone...gotta angel it!! I am using this prove now, all of the openings are in the right place and it's nice :D Established Skin purchasing this ingredient thru amazon saved me money. purchasing from the phone store would have cost at least $12+ tax Doesn't Copy Openings Like most of the other reviewers have said, this fell does not match the openings on my Pearl 8100. The top opening for a holster is in the center yet, on my BB, the holster smack slot is on the right. For $3, it's no big deal but Amazon does their customers a disservice to at to allow this item to be listed as compatible with the 8100 Pearl when it is not. To my surprise, once I charged it, the battery worked as good as the original one that came with my phone. Conserve yourself lots of dollars!! Don't hesitate to purchase from this company. BlackBerry Battery-operated Rather than paying $55 for a new freestyle at TMobile, I bought one on line. Works fine, same as the original one. I'd buy again in a heartbeat if I needed another. new freestyle makes a world of difference having a new mobile restored the call duration and standby to new levels. cellular freeks shipped it quickly. dynamism If you paucity this type of battery for your blackberry, or other cell phone, by all means purchase it here. Do not go to your Cell Phone Provider talent store, and purchase the same battery, or you will end up paying through your nose for the same item. This is the best advice I can make to anyone. Customer ReviewsIt works!Although this trackball has more of a textile/grip feel to it, I don't mind because it works. My trackball went out in my Blackberry 8900. Note if you don't have a Torque 6 screwdriver you may have need of to purchase one. I would recommend this: Teeny Turner (Assorted Colors) I installed this trackball within a duo seconds after disassembling my Blackberry. Note be very careful with the screws, especially the black ones. I had the tip of one ruin by screwing it back in too tight. You have to screw it in tight to make sure the phone stays together but I judge devise I turned that screw a half-turn too much. It was easy to install the new trackball because you just in order it where the other was. Make sure that the small spoon shaped contact that's on the back of the trackball has the spoon end up and the administer down. That's the way the old one came out so that's the way I installed the new one. I didn't really need the trim bezel that comes with the trackball but you may fundamental it for your install. My phone has the illuminated bezel so I only switched the balls out. Also note when reassembling your gonna have to put the phone together tightly or it will pop apart until you get the screws back in it. When I reassembled I started with the top two, then bottom two and then the middle screws. not that terrifying the offering arrived on time, but in very poor packaging and without instructions, unassembled. After about an hour of trying to get it in my blackberry at best so-so (it never quite fit) and it started fall to pieces and i'll have tiny microscopic screws in my carpet for the stay of my life. Now I am not, blaming them for my destroying the item, i'm not technically saavy, but they at least should have had a diagram or something so that someone without an engineering station can put together relatively. My complaint is with the product, not the company.... Boycott Trackball for my BlackBerry Curve 8300 I've been using this for 2 months now. Works adept and I'm a heavy BB user (Curve 8300 model). The ball is black and does not assign any light through, which is fine by me. The other reviewer stated that his/her trackball stopped working properly 2 duration after installation. My suggestion is to clean the surface that the trackball sits on. After taking out your trackball, look at the exterior. You may notice lots of hard-packed dust. That is preventing a clean contact between the trackball and ambit board. I used rubbing alcohol + qtip to clean it, let dry, then install new trackball. It took 1 half a mo altogether, very easy. I purchased this for my BlackBerry Nonpareil. So far so good. Tryst: June 18, 2010. My old ball was just moving to the left and right, I had to take out the ball and kept on active/switching/turning the ball in the socket to get it to scroll up and down, which I must say was very annoying. Hence, I decided on getting this which solved the fine kettle of fish. I had no problem putting it in, it went in with ease. It moves smoothly, so far it works okay even though it has been a week since I've been using it. I passion I'd bought a diff. colour because the black is so 'blahhh' but it actually matches with ma BB. Thinking of getting a new BB, upgrading so I'll more than expected buy a diff. colour track ball if all goes well with this one, I hope the ball doesn't work the runway easily, if none at all. Worth the money I paid for it at the end of the day. P.S I know black isn't a colour, It's a shade. :) Man: June 20,2010. I had a problem with the ball this afternoon, it actually stopped scrolling up. I had to take it out and wipe it off and be shifting it around and then put it back in and it worked. I exceedingly hope that after I left a good review I don't have to change it, that would be real disappointing and would feel like a rip off.
